Role Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Delivery Manager - IT with strong experience in Java-based technologies, API development, and enterprise integration. This individual will lead high-performing teams, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and production-ready software solutions that directly impact Guardian's Group Business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery of well-designed, scalable, and secure software integration solutions.

- Engineer API-driven application integrations using messaging, events, and RESTful architectures.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to ensure delivery alignment with business goals.

- Mentor developers and analysts, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Triage and resolve end-to-end integration issues across middleware systems and infrastructure.

- Build and coach high-performance teams aligned to Guardian's culture of customer-first delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Minimum 15 years of software development and delivery experience (Java/J2EE).

- Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, enterprise integration patterns, and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).

- Hands-on experience with API security frameworks, token management, and OAuth2/JWT.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Zenoss.

- Knowledge of Agile/SAFE methodologies.
