Role Overview:

- We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Consultant IT to join our technology team in Chennai or Gurgaon.

- As a technical leader, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade applications that power Guardian's core business operations and customer-facing platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Java/J2EE, cloud technologies, and agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners to align product roadmap with technical strengths and architecture opportunities.

- Design scalable, reusable, and robust product architectures, incorporating both legacy and modern components.

- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, coaching developers and QA on coding standards and best practices.

- Conduct regular code reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

- Monitor and manage technical debt, ensuring remediation as part of product backlog management.

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

- Ensure compliance with Guardian's standards for security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 15+ years of experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE applications.

- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, JMS, Kafka, and REST APIs.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker, ECS).

- Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or IBM DB2).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React/Next.js) is an advantage.

- Experience delivering software in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
