About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join Facets cloud, a fast-growing, well-funded startup revolutionising the DevOps and cloud infrastructure space.
- This strategic role focuses on partnership and alliance development, offering the opportunity to build the partnership function from the ground up while working closely with founders and the executive team on strategic initiatives.
- As their Business Development - Partnership and Alliances lead, he/she will develop global partnership strategies, manage relationships with technology partners across multiple regions, and work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to identify and establish high-value partnerships within the cloud and DevOps ecosystem.
- They will also manage relationships with industry analysts and research firms to enhance their market positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with cloud providers, DevOps tool vendors, and system integrators across global markets
- Manage relationships with industry analysts and research firms to position Facets cloud favourably in market reports and industry studies
- Lead partnership negotiations and manage contract discussions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global partners and key stakeholders across different time zones and regions
- Engage with industry analysts, participate in analyst briefings, and ensure accurate representation in market research
- Collaborate with Product teams on integration roadmaps and technical compatibility
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams on joint go-to-market strategies and co-marketing initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and analyse partnership performance metrics
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on partnership pipeline and business impact
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances in B2B technology with global scope
- Experience managing relationships with industry analysts and research firms
- Proven track record with dev tools, cloud platforms, or infrastructure software partnerships
- Understanding of cloud computing, DevOps methodologies, and SaaS business models
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking mindset
