GrowthAXL - Head - Global Operations

About the Role:

We are a venture studio building and operating multiple technology startups in parallel. We are hiring a Head of Global Operations to run a shared services organization that supports multiple portfolio companies across the US and India.

This role owns finance, HR, legal coordination, IT, compliance, and administration as centralized shared services, while enabling each portfolio company to move fast without operational friction.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on leadership role closer to a COO for the studio platform than a functional manager. You will design systems once, apply them many times, and continuously optimize for speed, cost, and clarity.

What You Will Own:

1. Shared Services Platform (Core Mandate):

Build and operate centralized shared services across:

- Finance & accounting

- HR & people operations

- Legal & compliance coordination

- IT & internal systems

- Administration & vendor management

- Design reusable, scalable operating models for all portfolio companies

- Ensure each startup gets speed without duplication or chaos

5. Legal, Contracts & Risk Management

6. IT, Tools & Automation

7. Execution, Governance & Leadership

What we are looking for

Must-Have:

- 10 - 18 years in operations / business ops / finance / general management

- Experience running shared services or multi-entity operations

- Strong understanding of US + India operations

- Proven ability to support multiple stakeholders simultaneously

- Extremely hands-on and execution-driven

- Strong systems thinker with a bias for simplification

- Comfortable with modern tools, dashboards, and automation

- Cost-conscious, detail-oriented, and pragmatic

Strong Plus:

- Experience in a venture studio, PE/VC platform, or multi-business group

- Startup experience (01 and scaling)

- Experience supporting founder-led teams

- Exposure to SaaS, AI, or technology companies
