Role Overview:

The Investment Banking Analyst serves as a cornerstone of the deal execution team, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of complex financial transactions. You will work closely with senior partners and client leadership to synthesize market data into actionable insights, ensuring that every pitch and transaction is backed by rigorous financial modeling. This role is instrumental in driving business outcomes by facilitating capital raises and strategic exits, directly influencing the firm's reputation and the long-term success of our clients in a competitive financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Construct comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses to support M&A and capital raising mandates for diverse client portfolios.

- Prepare high-impact pitch decks, information memoranda, and management presentations to effectively communicate investment theses to potential investors.

- Conduct deep-dive industry research and competitive benchmarking to identify market trends and potential acquisition targets for our clients.

- Manage the due diligence process by coordinating with legal, financial, and tax advisors to ensure seamless transaction execution.

- Maintain active engagement with existing and prospective clients to provide regular updates on deal progress and market sentiment.

- Support senior leadership in deal structuring and negotiation strategies to maximize value for stakeholders.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced financial modeling, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis, with a keen eye for detail.

- Strong ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, persuasive narratives for senior-level stakeholders and institutional investors.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse client groups and internal teams.

- Proven track record of managing multiple high-pressure workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strict adherence to transaction timelines.

- A postgraduate degree in Finance, MBA from a premier institute, or a professional qualification such as CA or CFA is highly preferred.

- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, on-site work environment in Mumbai, demonstrating agility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- 3 - 9 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory services.
