About Us:
- We're building a next-generation jewellery brand for modern India lab-grown, gender-inclusive, and occasion-first. This is not just another D2C label; we're reimagining how jewellery fits into everyday life.
- The brand is in its early phase, with full freedom to build systems from scratch, shape category behavior, and create a business that lasts. We're setting up for scale thoughtfully, sustainably, and with a strong foundation.
Job Summary:
- As our Growth Marketing Lead, you will lead the strategy and execution across paid acquisition, CRM, funnel optimization, and retention.
- This is a 0 - 1 role. You'll be the first growth hire, starting hands-on and later building the team and systems needed to scale. The role is both strategic and execution-heavy, and best suited for someone who thrives in ambiguity, cares about doing things well, and wants full ownership.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Acquisition (Paid Media)
- Own performance across Meta, Google, YouTube, and affiliate channels
- Plan and execute acquisition experiments across creatives, offers, and audiences
- Optimize CAC and scale growth efficiently
- Must have managed - 50 Cr+ annual performance marketing budgets
2. CRM & Retention
- Build lifecycle journeys across WhatsApp, email, and push
- Segment users based on occasion and buying intent
- Increase repeat rate and improve CAC payback time
3. Funnel & Conversion Optimization
- Improve website and landing page conversion rates
- Run CRO experiments across PDPs, cart flows, and homepage
- Partner with product/design to ship funnel tests
4. Analytics & Experimentation
- Build dashboards for CAC, LTV, cohorts, and funnel metrics
- Define attribution model and segment-level insights
- Run tests with clear hypotheses and learning goals
5. Team & Collaboration
- Hire and mentor performance, CRM, and analytics talent as we grow
- Work with content, brand, and retail teams to align creative with performance goals
- Manage agency and platform partners across ads, CRM, and tools
Requirements:
- 6-10 years in performance/growth roles at early-stage or premium consumer brands
- Prior ownership of - 50 Cr+ paid media budgets
- Experience in low-frequency, high-AOV categories (jewellery, watches, fashion, accessories, or beauty)
- Strong grasp of CAC:LTV modeling, payback periods, attribution, and funnel metrics
- Hands-on with GA4, Shopify, Klaviyo/MoEngage, Mixpanel, Looker Studio
- Proven ability to operate in fast-moving, zero-to-one environments
What wont work:
This is a pre-revenue, high-ownership role at the 0-to-1 stage we need builders, not operators waiting for structure.
We're specifically NOT looking for candidates who:
- Lack deep, hands-on craft in their function
- Avoid experimentation or resist trying new tools and workflows
- Need step-by-step direction or excessive handholding
- Default to outsourcing or agency dependency instead of rolling up their sleeves
- Are slow, overly cautious, or uncomfortable with ambiguity
- Want a traditional 9-to-5 job or are in a "settle down" phase
- Focus more on "managing people" than mentoring, guiding, and working alongside them
- Lead with control or hierarchy instead of teaching and collaboration
- Struggle to work across teams or communicate clearly in a lean, fast-moving setup
This isn't a corporate manager role it's for someone who leads with action, earns trust through contribution, and builds systems and teams the right way.
How We Work (Culture Fit):
- This role starts hands-on. You'll be the first growth hire running campaigns, writing briefs, and setting up systems yourself. Later, you'll build and lead the team.
- We don't micromanage. You'll have full responsibility for your work and the trust to lead it your way.
- We keep things honest and straightforward. That means sharing what's working, what's not, and solving problems together with no drama, no politics.
- You won't just be executing tasks, you'll be part of big decisions. We'll expect you to bring ideas, ask questions, and help shape how we grow.
- We don't celebrate long hours or late nights. We care about focused work during work hours and having time and energy left for life outside of it.
- We want this to be a place where you can do great work, keep learning, and enjoy showing up every day.
