Ecommerce Manager DTC & Marketplaces


Reports To: Co-Founder / CEO


Type: Full-time | High-growth, high-ownership role


Location: India (remote)


Want to scale one of Europes fastest-growing E-commerce brands?


VEDIC LAB is Europes fastest-growing beauty & wellness brand, pioneering clinical Ayurveda with Swiss biotechnology. As we scale up even more, our Shopify DTC store is the core business engine and we are hiring someone to own the end-to-end consumer experience and business performance on our online store.


We are also looking to expand our footprint into selective marketplaces in the European markets which our e-commerce manager will also play a vital leadership role.


What is the job?:


As E-commerce Growth Manager DTC and Marketplaces, you will be responsible for the performance and growth of the VEDIC LAB online store: delivering revenue and profitability targets through world-class optimization, customer journeys, and digital product leadership. You will help shape the strategy, lead developers and agencies, and ensure excellent execution quality.


You will also lead the P&L results for VEDIC LAB on all the Marketplaces we launch and play in across Europe, working closely with agency partners for support.


Key Areas of Responsibility:


1. DTC Strategy and P&L Ownership


- Own revenue, AOV, retention, and margin targets for the DTC channel.


- Define and drive the Shopify growth roadmap across funnels and user journeys.


2. On-site Content ownership


- Ensure complete consumer experience, UX and entre content on the store is compelling, persuasive and executed at the highest global standards.


- Deliver SEO organic growth for the brand with suitable keyword-based content and implementations end to end.


3. On-Site Conversion Rate Optimization


- Design high-converting funnel experiences based on consumer insight and analytics.


- Boost conversion through structured CRO: landing pages, checkout flows, upsells, testing.


4. DTC Customer Retention & Loyalty Programs


- Build strategies for repeat purchase: bundles, auto-replenish, loyalty tiers, post-purchase journeys.


- Work with CRM/email teams to ensure lifecycle flows maximise LTV.


5. Market places: ecommerce P&L leadership


- Lead end-to-end delivery of rapid, profitable growth on Amazon Germany.


- Deliver high impact results in other select marketplaces in Switzerland and Germany: from listing, to continuous scale up.


6. Agency & Team Collaboration


- Collaborate with multiple agencies (email, ads, others) to ensure there is a seamless end-to-end smooth flow in consumer experience and conversions.


- Ensure execution quality and performance accountability.


7. Data, Reporting & Growth Optimization


- Build dashboards and performance reporting around traffic, CVR, AOV, LTV, churn and other suitable metrics that move the needle in business results.


- Translate platform data into actionable optimization and weekly growth actions.


What it takes to succeed: 4-7 years in DTC E-commerce for consumer brands (beauty & wellness preferred).
