Were hiring our first marketing hire to build and own the entire top-of-funnel growth engine.
This role combines demand generation, outbound, content, SEO, and brand building. Your success will be measured by qualified demos booked and pipeline generated, not vanity metrics.
You will effectively function as both marketer and SDR, building the playbook from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run cold outreach campaigns via email and LinkedIn targeting CISOs, CTOs, and security leaders
- Identify buying signals such as SOC2 / ISO 27001 audits, funding rounds, pentester hiring, or security incidents
- Build and manage the full outreach pipeline from prospecting to booked demos
- Launch targeted LinkedIn and Google Ads campaigns for SaaS, fintech, healthtech, and API-heavy companies
- Create technical marketing content (blogs, guides, comparison posts, etc.)
- Write email sequences, LinkedIn posts, landing pages, and blog articles
- Build pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and ROI calculators
- Own organic rankings for keywords like automated penetration testing, API security testing, OWASP compliance testing, and AI pentesting
- Implement technical SEO and high-intent landing pages
- Build partnerships with compliance consultants, audit firms, and DevSecOps agencies
- Represent APX at security meetups, webinars, and conferences
- Participate in relevant cybersecurity communities
Requirements:
- 3 to 6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience
- Experience selling technical products
- Comfortable running live demos without a sales engineer
- Ability to speak credibly about APIs, OWASP vulnerabilities, and security workflows
- Strong English communication skills
