
We're hiring for the profile of Group Reporting Specialist for Pune location
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in group reporting, financial reporting
Budget: 20 LPA (including variable)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Group Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of consolidated financial statements which includes P&L account, Balance sheet, cash flow statement and notes to accounts in line with IFRS or applicable accounting standards.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions, consolidating financial data across multiple entities to present a cohesive view of the company's financial performance.
Management Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare detailed management reports and analyses that provide actionable insights into financial trends, risks, and performance metrics.
- Develop and enhance monthly and quarterly management reporting packages for stakeholders, identifying key drivers of financial results and variance analysis.
Process Improvement and Standardization:
- Drive process improvements within the Group Reporting function by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
- Lead initiatives within the CoE to enhance data integrity, automate reporting processes, and improve reporting accuracy.
Compliance and Audit Support
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and external reporting requirements.
- Support external and internal audit processes, preparing documentation and responding to audit queries as required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in IFRS or relevant accounting standards; advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and financial consolidation systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
