Group Reporting Specialist - BFS/Telecom

Key Responsibilities:

Group Financial Reporting and Consolidation:

- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of consolidated financial statements which includes P&L account, Balance sheet, cash flow statement and notes to accounts in line with IFRS or applicable accounting standards.

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring all reports are accurate, timely, and meet Group standards.

- Reconcile intercompany transactions, consolidating financial data across multiple entities to present a cohesive view of the company's financial performance.

- Collaborate with local finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting practices, compliance with policies, and elimination of discrepancies.

Management Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare detailed management reports and analyses that provide actionable insights into financial trends, risks, and performance metrics.

- Develop and enhance monthly and quarterly management reporting packages for stakeholders, identifying key drivers of financial results and variance analysis.

- Support the creation and presentation of financial information to executive leadership and assist with board-level reporting requirements.

Process Improvement and Standardization:

- Drive process improvements within the Group Reporting function by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices.

Key Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is strongly preferred.

- PPE (Property plant and equipment, IAS 16), Lease accounting and reporting (IFRS 16), and Oracle fusion knowledge

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in group reporting, financial reporting, or a similar role, preferably within a multinational company or shared services/CoE environment.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in IFRS or relevant accounting standards; advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and financial consolidation systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
