We are looking for a Group Product Manager for a Global Pharmaceutical MNC based in Bangalore
We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead our eyecare therapy segment. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing both short-term and long-term marketing strategies and promotional plans centered around patient needs. This role plays a critical part in driving brand performance, market share growth, and achieving business objectives.
All responsibilities must be carried out in adherence to internal company policies and applicable regulatory standards, including ethical, environmental, safety, financial, and HR requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Market Leadership:
- Drive top-line market share and bottom-line profitability for assigned therapy areas and brands.
- Develop and execute robust marketing strategies tailored to specific therapeutic segments.
Market Insights & Strategy:
- Conduct market analysis using both primary and secondary data to inform strategy.
- Monitor ROI on marketing initiatives and optimize brand performance accordingly.
- Lead market research to understand customer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Training & Field Support:
- Train new field staff on disease areas, product knowledge, and promotional material usage.
- Conduct periodic refresher trainings and support field teams with customer profiling and communication tools.
- Address doctor queries, objections, and competitor claims effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Medical Affairs, Training, Promotional teams, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless brand execution and alignment.
KOL Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to support brand advocacy and market access.
Qualifications:
Education: B.Pharm or Science graduate with a postgraduate degree in Business Management.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in pharmaceutical marketing, preferably with exposure to eyecare or specialty therapy areas.
