Group President/Group Vice President - Commodity Trading - Coal & Steel

About the Role:

We are looking for a senior business leader with 20+ years of experience in commodity trading, particularly Coking Coal, Iron Ore and Steel Trading, to lead multiple business units and drive international growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead strategic direction and operations across multiple business units.

- Develop strong relationships with customers and steel mills for cross-border trade.

- Drive business growth across India, Europe and USA markets.

- Identify and pursue new international markets, business opportunities and partnerships.

- Lead and expand the Groups commodity trading business.

- Build, mentor and lead high-performing teams.

- Drive cross-border trading initiatives and establish strategic partnerships.

- Work closely with the CEO/MD and key stakeholders on overall business strategy.

Candidate Profile:

- 20+ years of overall experience, preferably in commodity/steel trading.

- Strong experience in Coking Coal, Iron Ore and Steel Trading.

- Must have prior experience with a Trading Company.

- Proven track record in international/cross-border trade.

- Strong network with steel mills and customers.

- Experience in building and managing teams.

- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and decision-making skills.

- MBA / B.E. preferred.
