Group QA/QC Manager(Spray Dried Detergents, Household Products, Detergent Paste, Laundry & Toilet Soaps)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Group QA/QC Manager to lead and strengthen quality assurance and quality control functions across multiple manufacturing units and product categories. This role demands a strategic leader who can establish robust quality systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Candidate Profile

Qualification: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry

Experience: Minimum 10 years in QA/QC, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity

Age Range: 30 to 45 years

Nationality Preference: Indian

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Strategy & Systems:

- Design, implement, and sustain an integrated Quality Management System across all business units

- Standardize quality practices and ensure consistency across product lines and locations

2. Compliance & Audit Management:

- Ensure adherence to international quality standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, and FSSC

- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and successful outcomes

3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

- Establish and track quality KPIs to evaluate plant and product performance

- Present regular insights and reports to senior leadership for decision-making

4. Issue Resolution & Corrective Actions:

- Lead investigations into product defects, non-conformities, and customer complaints

- Drive root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions

5. Team Leadership & Capability Building:

- Manage and mentor QA/QC teams across multiple facilities

- Build a strong quality-driven culture through training and development initiatives

6. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste

- Drive defect reduction and process optimization programs

7. Supplier Quality Management

- Define supplier quality benchmarks and monitor performance

- Ensure all incoming raw materials meet defined quality standards

Core Competencies

- Strong expertise in SPC, FMEA, and quality systems implementation

- Proven ability to build and scale QMS frameworks across multiple sites

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities

- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills

Key Achievements Expected

- Successful implementation and standardization of ISO 9001 or equivalent systems across multiple locations

- Demonstrated reduction in defects, non-conformities, or quality deviations

- Proven track record in driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives and improving operational efficiency
