Role Overview:
As the Head Corporate Strategy, based in Delhi NCR, you will be at the forefront of shaping the strategic direction of the organization. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with senior leadership across various business units to identify growth opportunities, assess market trends, and develop actionable strategies. You will work closely with the executive team, business unit heads, and external consultants to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives. This role directly impacts the company's long-term growth, market positioning, and overall profitability by driving strategic decision-making and fostering a culture of innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine the overall group strategy, aligning it with the company's vision and objectives, to ensure sustainable growth and market leadership.
- Lead the identification and evaluation of new market entry opportunities, conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis, to expand the company's footprint and revenue streams.
- Drive strategic planning processes across business units, facilitating workshops and discussions, to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with the overall group strategy.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors, providing insights and recommendations to senior management, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the development of business plans and financial models for new initiatives, ensuring their feasibility and alignment with the company's financial goals, to drive investment decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic projects, providing guidance and support, to ensure timely and successful implementation.
- Communicate strategic priorities and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, fostering understanding and buy-in, to drive alignment and support.
- Evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, tracking key metrics and providing regular updates to senior management, to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Skillset:
- B.Tech + MBA (from a top-tier institution is highly preferred) with minimum 15-18 years experience in strategy role
- Proven expertise in identifying and evaluating new market entry opportunities, including conducting market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
