Group Director/Head - Information Technology - Manufacturing

Job Summary:

The Group Director - IT will be a strategic and visionary leader responsible for developing and executing the company's overall information technology (IT) strategy. This role is critical in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives to drive operational excellence, innovation, and competitive advantage within the manufacturing sector. The Group Director will oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, enterprise systems (ERP, MES), and digital transformation efforts.

EDUCATION: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Work Experience:

- 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in Information Technology leadership roles.

- Significant experience within the manufacturing sector is essential, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chains, and related IT systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, PLM).

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful IT strategies that align with business goals.

- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

- Extensive experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and data governance.

- Experience managing significant IT budgets and vendor contracts.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud) and modern IT architectures.
