- A full-suite financial reporting & accounting SaaS for SMEs/MSMEs in Europe
We are now seeking a strategic, hands-on Group CFO to build and scale financial systems across all entities.
Role Overview:
The Group CFO will be responsible for end-to-end financial stewardship across all M3A businesses. This includes multi-entity accounting, cross-border compliance, financial planning, internal controls, treasury, fundraising support, and ensuring all business units operate with financial discipline and clarity. This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution and can bring order, insight, and structure across fast-scaling companies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Group Financial Strategy & Control
- Drive financial strategy for the group, aligning it with business goals across WealthTech, SaaS, and Marketplace models.
- Build group-wide budgets, forecasts, MIS, and board dashboards.
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
2. Multi-Entity Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee books of accounts and audits for all 3 entities (India + international structures).
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, RBI, FEMA, ROC and cross-border requirements.
- Set up standardized accounting practices across businesses.
3. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Build financial models, business cases, pricing models, and unit economics for each venture.
- Provide insights on profitability, cost optimization, and cash burn.
- Establish KPIs and drive monthly performance reviews.
4. Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Manage cash flow, intercompany transfers, reserves, and capital allocation.
- Oversee vendor payments, collections, and banking relationships.
- Optimize fund utilization across group companies.
5. Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Support founders during fundraisingdata rooms, financial due diligence, narratives, projections.
- Maintain investor MIS, reporting, and compliance.
6. Legal, Risk & Contracts
- Oversee financial clauses in vendor, client, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure risk management frameworks are implemented.
- Liaise with external counsel, auditors, and government bodies.
7. Leadership & Team Building
- Build and mentor lean finance teams for each entity.
- Implement technology-enabled finance systems (ERP, billing, subscription management, etc.).
- Drive a culture of accuracy, accountability, and clarity.
Must-Haves:
- CA / CFA / MBA Finance with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience handling multi-entity, cross-functional finance roles.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, marketplace economics, and financial services compliances.
- Hands-on with accounting systems, financial modeling, and audit/compliance cycles.
- Ability to operate in structured + unstructured environments.
Good-to-Have:
- Exposure to international accounting or European/UK compliance.
- Experience in venture-backed or founder-led high-growth companies.
- Ability to work closely with product and engineering teams (for Sinfonia + automation initiatives).
