This is a role for a senior professional who wants their next decade to be about ownership, influence and building something durable and, very often, for someone who has been waiting for the right reason to come home to Nagpur.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the group's financial strategy budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation and long-range planning across all group entities.

- Bring governance discipline to a promoter-run group board packs, review cadence, delegation of authority, and objective frameworks for where the group's next rupee should go.
- Partner the business, not just report on it pricing, margin, cost and investment decisions taken with the CFO in the room.
- Recruit, mentor and lead a lean, high-quality finance team.
- Serve as the promoter's financial sounding board including the ability to disagree, respectfully and with evidence. That is a core requirement of this job, not a bonus.

Must have:
- Chartered Accountant non-negotiable. An MBA in Finance alongside is welcome.
- 25 to 30 years of progressive finance leadership, including meaningful time in a CFO, Deputy CFO, Divisional CFO or Head of Finance seat owning a full balance sheet.
- Proven strength in financial control, governance, taxation and structuring someone who has genuinely built systems, not only operated inherited ones.
- The maturity to work in a promoter-led, family-owned environment: comfort with informality, with relationships that predate you, and with earning influence rather than being handed it.
- Willingness to relocate to and settle in Nagpur. Please apply only if this is genuinely acceptable to you and your family this is not a hybrid or fly-in role.
Preferred:
- Exposure to family-owned or promoter-driven groups.
- Experience with ERP implementation or a finance transformation delivered end to end.
- Exposure to fundraising, due diligence, M&A or investor reporting.
- Roots in or an existing connection to Nagpur / Vidarbha / Central India.
What we offer:
- 75 LPA including variable.
- A true CXO seat direct access to the promoter, no layer above, and real authority over how the group deploys its capital.
- The chance to build a finance function from scratch and define how a growing group makes its financial decisions.
- A long horizon. We are not hiring for a two-year fix.
- Nagpur: a materially lower cost of living, an hour's flight from anywhere in India, and for many of the people this role is written for home.
How to apply:
Apply through IIM Jobs with an updated CV and a short note covering your current fixed CTC and your position on relocating to Nagpur. All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
