Our client is a leading multinational conglomerate with fast and robust growth plans in Angola is looking to hire their Finance Leader for the Angola and other expansion markets to be based in Angola.

You'll be a part of the organization leadership team working closely with business leaders in defining and driving the business objectives and vision by setting up a robust finance ecosystem. You'll be overseeing all financial activities, providing strategic guidance to senior management, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company. This leadership position requires expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and decision-making to drive the company's financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and executing the Groups financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals, driving long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and performance enhancement.

- CFO holding strong Retail/Manufacturing experience is a must have requirement.

- Ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards while standardizing financial systems and processes across all retail units and geographies.

- Overseeing financial consolidation, audits, and regulatory adherence to maintain accuracy, transparency, and governance.

- Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and MIS frameworks at the Group level, enabling effective performance tracking and timely corrective measures.

- Implementing cost optimization initiatives, establishing profit and cost centers, and driving programs that enhance EBITDA margins and cash flow.

- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments across finance, tax, insurance, and contracts, ensuring robust mitigation strategies and compliance with covenants.

- Designing tax-efficient and scalable capital structures, collaborating with consultants on restructuring and funding strategies.

- Champions digital transformation in finance through SAP, BI tools, and automation to strengthen data-driven decision-making.

- Mentoring finance leaders across units, fostering a high-performance culture, succession planning, and collaborative leadership.

- Managing relationships with financial institutions, investors, auditors, and the Board to support strategic decision-making and financial sustainability.

Key Requirements:

- Professional degree in Finance - Chartered Accountancy degree.

- SAP ERP (must), POS Systems (preferred), BI Tools (mandatory).

- Minimum overall experience of 15+ years in Finance.

- FMCG/Retail industry background with multi-country operations.

- Strong experience in Strategy & Business Planning / Mergers & Acquisitions/ Restructuring, Risk Management, Operational Strategies, Financial Reporting / Accounting / Business Finance / Cost & Productivity Management across organization/ Taxation & Investment Management.

- Strong experience as Finance Business Partner in a Manufacturing/Retail set up is.

- Should be comfortable to travel as & when required.
