Deputy Area Manager - Operations / Fulfillment

At Grofers, our Operations team is obsessed with meeting the 90-minute delivery standard and wearing multiple hats

Responsibilities :

- Managing a multi-tier team encompassing Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, Station Managers and delivery boys

- Formulating the fulfillment strategy for city operations

- Ensuring proper collaboration among multiple delivery fulfillment centers

- Ability to hire and manage a multi-tier team

- Preparation of delivery and inventory reports on a daily basis

- Meeting the 90-minute delivery standard and ensuring timely reporting & invoicing

Required Skills :

- 1-3 years of work experience in Operations

- Preferably from an Engineering/MBA background

- Street smart in managing a large crew of Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager and delivery boys

- Understanding of Supply Chain Management

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

- Good oral and written communication skills

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and ethical - having a commercial acumen

- Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility

- Ability to work in a highly charged environment without compromising on quality

- Comfortable with working for long and unpredictable hours
