- Collect market information through primary and secondary research
- Extract, collect, anticipate and verify data requirements
- Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analysing data requirements, including but not limited to:
- Data mining
- Research methodology design
- Data validation
- Data output compilation
- Data analysis & interpretation
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, Word, Power Point & other visual data analysis tools such as PowerBI & Tableau
Key Qualifications
- Comfortable working on a shared codebases while collaborating with others
- Comfortable working with noisy datasets
- Must have an established track record of strong problem-solving skills, analysing and presenting complex industry and business information.
- Good understanding of primary, secondary research tools, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPSS and basic financial analysis packages
- You should ideally be educated to postgraduate degree standard in computer science, statistics, mathematics or related subjects and be fluent in English language ability to a professional business standard (speak / read / write).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Good, broad content knowledge of the Gulf region
- Experience in managing multiple simultaneous demanding deadlines
- Inquisitive, investigative nature
- Understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts & terminology
- Understanding of / exposure to the public sector / semi-government organization in the Gulf
- Professional attitude and service orientation; superb team player
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
