Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Taxation Manager to oversee the organizations financial management, accounting operations, and direct and indirect tax compliance.

The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective tax planning, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls while supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

- Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets

- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

- Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance

- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance (e.g., Income Tax, GST/VAT, TDS, Withholding Tax)

- Ensure timely filing of tax returns, assessments, and statutory compliances

- Lead tax planning and optimization initiatives within legal frameworks

- Handle tax audits, assessments, and liaison with tax authorities

- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business

- Ensure accurate tax accounting and reconciliation

- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors

- Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and statutory requirements

- Prepare audit schedules, documentation, and responses to queries

- Support risk management and compliance initiatives

- Lead and mentor the finance and taxation team

- Collaborate with legal, operations, HR, and business leaders

- Support senior management with financial insights and reports

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting

- Qualified CA / CPA / CMA (preferred)

- 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation

- Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws

- Experience in financial reporting and statutory compliance

- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
