Job Title: Project Head - Open Cast Coal Mine (Greenfield Project)

Location: Odisha, India

Industry: Mining / Coal Mining

Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Experience: Minimum 20+ years in coal mining (including greenfield project execution)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall development and execution of a 9 MTPA greenfield open cast coal mining project in Odisha.

- Coordinate land acquisition, statutory clearances (Forest, EC, R&R, DGMS), and mine infrastructure development.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and timely approval processes.

- Liaison with government authorities, consultants, and internal teams for effective execution.

- Manage production planning, deployment of HEMM, and ensure safety and environmental standards.

- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team for successful project commissioning and ramp-up.

Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering (mandatory)/MBA

- First Class Manager's Certificate of Competency (Coal) - DGMS, India (mandatory)

Preferred Skills:

- Strong leadership and project management skills.

- Experience in greenfield open cast mine development and operation.

- Good liaisoning abilities with state and central authorities.
