Greaves Electric Mobility - Lead - Strategic Sourcing - Metal Fabrication Domain

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Strategic Sourcing professional to manage sourcing, costing, and supplier development for Metal, Fabrication, Plastics & Rubber commodities in the 2W/3W domain. The role requires strong expertise in supplier management, new product development, and cross-functional collaboration with proven leadership in team handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead sourcing, pricing, costing, and negotiations for Metal, Fabrication, Plastics & Rubber.

- Drive supplier development with focus on South India (Hosur/Bangalore/Chennai).

- Manage a team of minimum 3 sourcing professionals.

- Collaborate with Quality, Design, and Manufacturing for new product development.

- Execute cost optimization, VA/VE initiatives, and supplier consolidation.

- Maintain supplier relationships and provide market intelligence.

Qualifications:

- 13-20 years in sourcing/procurement within 2W/3W OEMs.

- 7-10 years in strategic sourcing (not SCM/logistics).

- 3-5 years experience in NPD for Metal/Fabrication/Plastics/Rubber.

- 5+ years working with cross-functional teams.

- Worked with TVS / Yamaha / Bajaj for minimum 58 years.

- Strong leadership, negotiation, and supplier management skills
