Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our Finance team as an Assistant Manager - Finance (Taxation & Compliance). This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end direct and indirect taxation, ensuring statutory compliance across group entities, handling audits, and supporting regulatory strategy. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in GST, Direct Taxation, Tax Audits, and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Indirect Taxation (GST)

- Ensure complete compliance with GST laws, regulations, and amendments across all group entities.

- Oversee accurate computation of GST liabilities and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.

Prepare and review detailed GST reconciliations, including:

- GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B

- GSTR-2B vs Books of Accounts

- Other statutory reconciliations

- Identify discrepancies, drive corrective actions, and ensure compliance accuracy.

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external consultants on GST-related matters.

2. Direct Taxation & Audit Management

- Manage TDS compliance, including timely payment, deduction accuracy, and return filings across all entities.

- Lead preparation and filing of annual Income Tax Returns (ITR).

- Drive execution of Tax Audits and Transfer Pricing Audits in coordination with auditors and consultants.

- Support Transfer Pricing studies for related-party transactions and ensure documentation readiness.

- Stay updated on direct tax regulations and implement process changes where required.

3. Departmental Liaison & Litigation Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for notices, queries, and communications from tax authorities.

- Coordinate with internal teams and consultants for timely data preparation and response submission.

- Support ongoing tax litigation matters and maintain proper compliance records.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

- 1-5 years of post-qualification experience in Taxation, Compliance, or Finance

- Strong practical exposure to GST Compliance, including monthly and annual return filings

- In-depth understanding of Direct Taxation, Indirect Taxation, TDS, and Income Tax laws

- Experience in Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing, and Regulatory Compliance

- Prior industry experience preferred; candidates from reputed CA firms may also be considered

- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
