We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our manufacturing plant at Hyderabad. In this role, you will analyze operational processes, drive data-driven improvements, and lead cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize production output. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at collaborating across departments, and has a strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
This position plays a critical role in supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence in a highly regulated industry.
Operational Analysis & Reporting (40%)
- Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data (e.g., production yields, downtime, cycle times, inventory levels) using tools like Excel and Tableau.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to monitor plant performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues using methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or 5-Why.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce waste, increase throughput, and lower costs while maintaining GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance.
Cross-Functional Project Management (40%)
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects (e.g., equipment upgrades, process automation, supply chain optimization, quality improvement initiatives) from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with teams including Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Engineering.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments using tools like MS Project.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery with measurable ROI.
- Drive change management to implement project outcomes across the organization.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement (20%)
- Ensure all analyses and projects align with FDA, EMA, and cGMP regulations.
- Support audits and inspections by preparing data and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other CI tools.
- Train cross-functional team members on new processes and tools.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or operations consulting is mandatory (at least 1 year).
- Willingness to work in a plant environment (including cleanrooms); occasional shift coverage or travel. Must pass background check and drug screening.
