1. Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:
- Drive innovation, digital transformation, and process optimisation across procurement, warehousing (3PL), logistics, and distribution networks.
- Establish governance frameworks, strategic planning cycles, and robust operating models for sustainable and compliant operations.
2. End-to-End Supply Chain Operations Management:
- Ensure the seamless and compliant movement of pharmaceutical products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and GDP/GxP compliance.
- Lead efforts to optimize network design, inventory levels, logistics efficiency, and service quality across all channels.
3. Compliance, Quality & Risk Governance:
- Strengthen alignment with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and EHS to ensure audit readiness, SOP compliance, and adherence to statutory regulations.
- Oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement frameworks.
4. Vendor Strategy & 3PL Leadership:
- Establish strategic partnerships that enhance service capabilities, reduce total cost of ownership, and support business scalability.
- Lead vendor audits, SLA performance reviews, and long?term capability and cost optimisation programs.
5. Performance Management & Operational Excellence:
- Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects to elevate efficiency, service levels, and compliance performance.
- Leverage data analytics, technology, and automation for decision-making, forecasting, and process excellence.
6. Cross-Functional & Leadership Collaboration:
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on supply chain risks, opportunities, and market trends.
- Collaborate on business planning, S&OP processes, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
7. People Leadership & Capability Development
- Drive capability development, succession planning, and a culture of operational discipline, compliance, and innovation.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and leadership guidance to develop future supply chain leaders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience (10-15 years) in supply chain management and logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards (e.g., FDA, GMP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and cost optimization.
