Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager Transfer Pricing to lead and manage transfer pricing compliance, documentation, advisory, and audit support activities for domestic and international operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in transfer pricing regulations, OECD guidelines, and international taxation frameworks, along with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end transfer pricing compliance for domestic and international entities.
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies, and economic analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Transfer Pricing regulations, OECD guidelines, and BEPS requirements.
- Handle transfer pricing assessments, audits, litigation support, and responses to tax authorities.
- Coordinate with global finance, tax, and legal teams for intercompany transactions and policy alignment.
- Review intercompany agreements and ensure consistency with transfer pricing policies.
- Conduct FAR (Functions, Assets, and Risk) analysis for group entities and transactions.
- Monitor changes in global tax laws and assess business impact.
- Support APA, MAP, and tax planning initiatives related to transfer pricing.
- Assist in statutory audits and tax reporting requirements related to transfer pricing matters.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in transfer pricing operations.
- Mentor junior team members and support capability building within the tax function.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong knowledge of Indian Transfer Pricing regulations and international tax principles.
- Expertise in OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and BEPS framework.
- Hands-on experience in benchmarking analysis and TP documentation.
- Exposure to APA, MAP, litigation, and audit handling.
- Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in financial databases and transfer pricing tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments within strict timelines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with Big 4 firms or multinational organizations preferred.
- Exposure to cross-border transactions and global transfer pricing structures.
- Experience in handling complex intercompany arrangements and tax assessments.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified CA with mandatory post-qualification experience of 5+ years in Transfer Pricing.
- Strong understanding of direct taxation and international taxation concepts.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong professional ethics.
