About the role:

Associates and Senior Associates play a critical role in driving political and campaign strategy as part of project teams within active electoral campaigns. Working closely with both the internal organisation team and client representatives (typically political parties), they help shape, plan, and oversee the end to end execution of campaign strategies.

They are responsible for coordinating field teams, managing on-ground operations, and engaging with key stakeholders across constituencies, districts, and states. Regular interactions with political leaders, party functionaries, and campaign staff at multiple levels are a core part of the role.

While the position offers unmatched exposure to live political strategy and decision making, it also demands a high degree of professionalism, including strict confidentiality, strong client management skills, and consistent performance under pressure. The nature of political work means irregular hours including evenings and weekends and frequent travel should be expected.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Develop and implement political campaign strategies in coordination with party leadership and internal teams.

- Contribute to ideation and planning of on-ground campaign initiatives across constituencies.

- Lead end-to-end project management of campaign components, ensuring timely execution and alignment with political objectives.

- Conduct field visits and stakeholder interactions to gather insights and ensure campaign effectiveness.

- Analyse electoral, demographic, and political data to support strategy development and real-time decision-making.

- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and updates for senior leadership and stakeholders.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including data, research, content, and field operations to deliver integrated campaign outputs.

- Engage with political stakeholders at constituency, district, and state levels to ensure alignment and feedback loops.

- Identify on-ground issues and provide timely, practical solutions using structured problem-solving approaches.

Requirements for the position:

- Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 academic institution. A degree in fields such as Political Science, Public Policy, Economics or similar is preferred.

- Strong problem solving abilities with a structured and analytical approach to handling ambiguity and fast-changing political contexts.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and teams.

- High levels of initiative, ownership, and a bias for action, especially in high pressure environments.

- Willingness to travel extensively and be based out of Hyderabad

- Contextual understanding of the state's political, social, and cultural landscape is a significant plus.

- Proficiency in written and/or spoken Telugu would be preferred
