Role Overview:

As the Finance Head at Grace Renewable Energy Ltd, based in Gujarat, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring financial stability, and driving strategic financial planning. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders to optimize financial performance, manage risk, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the company's growth trajectory and achieving its long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives to maximize profitability and shareholder value.

- Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.

- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure realistic and achievable financial targets.

- Lead the financial due diligence and structuring of project financing transactions to secure funding for new and existing projects.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities and avoid penalties.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors to facilitate access to capital and optimize financing terms.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

- Monitor and manage financial risks to protect the company from potential losses.

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

- Lead and mentor the finance team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth.

- Proven expertise in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis, including IFRS and Indian GAAP.

- Strong understanding of project finance, taxation, and regulatory compliance in the renewable energy sector.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

- Experience in managing and mentoring a finance team.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts, Financial Analysis, MIS, Taxation, Corporate Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Reporting, and Financial Planning/Forecasting.
