Government Affairs Officer - Infrastructure

Role Overview:

A leading organization in the digital infrastructure sector is looking for an experienced Officer Government Affairs to manage government liaisoning and statutory approvals for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive all government and statutory approvals related to land, power, water, environmental, fire, and municipal clearances.

- Liaise with Central & State Government departments, DISCOMs, Pollution Control Boards, municipal authorities, and other regulatory agencies.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Legal, and external consultants to ensure timely approvals and compliance.

- Track approval timelines, manage regulatory risks, and maintain statutory documentation.

Ideal Candidate:

- 10+ years of experience in government affairs, liaisoning, or statutory approvals for large infrastructure projects.

- Strong exposure to land, power, environmental, and utility approvals.

- Experience working with government authorities, local bodies, and regulatory agencies.

- Preferred sectors: Data Centers, Power & Utilities, Industrial Parks, EPC, Real Estate, Telecom Infrastructure, or Large Infrastructure Projects.
