
Job Description:
- The Governance Head - CEO Office operates as a strategic extension of the CEO, responsible for establishing, running, and enforcing enterprise-wide governance, operating cadence, and leadership accountability.
- This role ensures organizational discipline, delivery predictability, risk visibility, and execution alignment across portfolios, while explicitly staying out of day-to-day operations.
Role Purpose:
To institutionalize governance, decision discipline, and execution rigor across the organization, enabling the CEO to drive growth and strategy with confidence, clarity, and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and operate enterprise governance frameworks across Portfolios, Delivery, and Support functions.
- Own CEO / Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly with outcome-driven dashboards.
- Ensure portfolio-level predictability on revenue, delivery, utilization, and risk.
- Act as custodian of decision-rights, escalation models, and accountability tracking.
- Identify cross-portfolio risks, dependencies, and systemic bottlenecks.
- Drive compliance posture (ISO, SOC, internal controls) as an enabler, not a blocker.
- Enforce leadership discipline through structured reviews and follow-through.
- Prepare concise, forward-looking CEO briefs with risks, trade-offs, and decision asks.

What This Role Does NOT Own:
- Day-to-day delivery execution.
- Sales closures or account ownership.
- People management within delivery teams.
- Operational firefighting.

- CEO and Executive Committee.
- Portfolio Heads (Automotive, IoT, Smart Devices, Compute).
- Service Delivery Leadership.
- Finance, HR, TA, Business Operations.
Success Metrics (1218 months):
- Predictable revenue and delivery metrics across portfolios.
- Reduction in unplanned escalations reaching CEO.
- Improved review quality and leadership preparedness.
- Compliance maturity without delivery slowdown.
- Clear ownership and closure of cross-functional issues.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 15+ years in Governance, Delivery Excellence, Program Management, or Enterprise Operations.
- Strong experience working with CEO / CXO stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of engineering services or technology organizations.
- Proven ability to influence without authority.
- Strong judgment, structured thinking, and executive communication skills.
- Experience with ISO, SOC, internal audits, or enterprise governance preferred.
