Role Overview

As the Head - Corporate Development, you will work closely with the founders on identifying and evaluating strategic growth opportunities, such as mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, through market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to support senior management's decision-making and drive the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with the founders and senior leadership to shape the company's long-term growth agenda.

- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic growth opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, investments, and partnerships within the consumer/consumer-tech ecosystem.

- Drive market research, industry mapping, and competitive intelligence to identify potential targets and opportunities.

- Lead financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring to support investment/M&A decisions.

- Build and manage relationships with investors, bankers, advisors, and potential partners.

- Support organic expansion initiative,s including new category launches, entry into adjacencies, and expansion across channels/geographies.

- Prepare and present investment memoranda, board materials, and strategic recommendations to senior management and the board.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of strategic initiatives.

- Track emerging trends in consumer and consumer-tech sectors to proactively identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

- Top tier educational pedigree with 10-15 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity/venture capital.

- Strong exposure to consumer and/or consumer-tech sectors (transactions, investments, or strategy).

- Demonstrated track record of working on small to mid-sized ticket end-to-end M&A or investment deals (sourcing to closure).

- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.

- Ability to balance strategic vision with executional detail.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; experience working directly with founders/senior leadership.
