Key responsibilities:
- Formulation of Contracting Strategy for various project segments and ensure alignment of the strategies in line with the budget and business plans.
- Develop Vendor database for all trade packages
- Review & Monitor Prequalification process for shortlisting tenderers for contract awards
- Reviewing Tender document including but not limited to drafting of Special conditions of contract.
- Conduct Tender techno-commercial negotiation meetings with tenderers & Internal stakeholders.
- Formulation of Contract award recommendation note and coordinate with approving authorities for approving the award recommendation.
- Preparation & release of LOA, Contract documents.
- Anticipate potential claims and minimise the impact of claims during contract period.
- Administering cost variations/ extra items through valid amendment work orders.
- Identify possible counter claims
- Validate & tracking of contractual compliances like Bank guarantees submitted by the vendors.
- To act as an arbitrator between the company and the contractor
- Ensure proper contractual communications to minimize claims
- Terminate the contracts on contractual grounds taking in to account delay analysis, fact assessments to ensure no counter claims from the contractors.
- Resolve and settle disputes between the contractors and between the client and the contractor
- Prepare closeout and closure of contracts
Who are we looking for?
Qualification:
- BE/ B Tech Civil Engineering with 22+ Years of experience in Real Estate/Construction industry in managing contracts and procurement in the Real estate industry/Construction Industry.
Experience:
- 20+ years of experience. Expertise at managing a cluster of Projects ranging between 15+ million square feet in C&P.
