Godrej Properties - Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/Team Leader - Finance & MIS

Reporting To: Head of Finance & Project Director (Matrix Reporting)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Finance & MIS team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with financial regulations.

- Oversee the end-to-end process of financial statement preparation and finalization in line with statutory requirements.

Manage and supervise core financial operations, including:

- Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Direct and Indirect Taxation (DT/IDT)

- IND AS compliance and audit procedures

- Compile and review monthly MIS reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Continuously improve reporting mechanisms and support ERP enhancements (preferably SAP).

- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations.

- Act as a key liaison during statutory and internal audits.

- Analyze budget vs. actuals, support forecasting, and implement cost control initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience:

Minimum: 5 years in Finance and MIS roles

Preferred: 7+ years, with proven team leadership experience

Preferred Industry Background:

Primary Preference: Real Estate

Others: Open to candidates from related industries with strong financial acumen

Key Skills & Proficiencies:

- Strong command of IND AS, taxation laws, and audit coordination

- Expertise in financial systems, preferably SAP

- Excellent data analysis and MIS reporting capabilities

- Effective leadership, team management, and communication skills

- Experience in managing large financial datasets for business insights
