Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Senior Human Resources Manager to architect and scale our people function in alignment with GO DESis high-growth ambitions.
This is a leadership role with direct influence on the business trajectory, responsible for designing and deploying people strategies that foster innovation, performance, and cultural integrity.
The ideal candidate brings deep HR expertise in fast-paced startup environmentsparticularly within FMCGand is driven by building high-impact systems, nurturing talent, and enabling sustainable, people-first growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & People Operations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Founder and senior leadership, aligning HR strategies with business goals to support organizational scale.
- Architect scalable HR systems and infrastructure to support hyper-growth across distributed teams and business functions.
- Lead the adoption and optimization of HR technologies (HRMS, ATS, analytics platforms) to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Design and implement agile hiring strategies to attract, assess, and onboard high-caliber talent across verticals.
- Champion employer branding initiatives to position GO DESi as an employer of choice in the FMCG startup ecosystem.
- Build forecasting models and capacity plans to align talent pipelines with business growth and geographic expansion.
Performance, Culture & Capability Building
- Drive a robust performance management framework focused on continuous feedback, high accountability, and leadership development.
- Strengthen organizational culture by fostering inclusivity, ownership, innovation, and well-being at every level.
- Lead organization-wide L&D initiatives to upskill teams and create internal leadership pipelines.
People Analytics & Employee Experience
- Build and manage dashboards that track talent KPIs, engagement metrics, and workforce health to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead interventions to address attrition, engagement, DEI, and productivity, supported by data-driven insights.
- Oversee employee relations, grievance redressal, and compliance with fairness, empathy, and transparency.
Compensation & HR Governance
- Collaborate on competitive compensation, incentive, and benefits frameworks aligned with business goals and market trends.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance while embedding best practices in HR policy, documentation, and governance.
Ideal Profile
Experience:
- 6-8 years in progressive HR leadership roles, with a minimum of 3+ years in high-growth startups (FMCG experience preferred).
Expertise:
- Proven success in building HR functions, leading people operations, and managing change in scaling environments.
Mindset:
- Strategic thinker with strong execution rigor, resilience in ambiguity, and a bias for action.
Tools:
- Hands-on experience with modern HR platforms, talent analytics tools, and digital-first HR practices.
Stakeholder Management:
- Ability to influence and collaborate with founders, CXOs, and cross-functional leaders.
Team Leadership:
- Track record of leading and mentoring high-performing HR teams
