Position Title - AGM Business Integration


Sector - Energy

JOB PURPOSE:


- To manage strategic, analytical, financial and operational facets to optimize CEO Designate Energy, Office efficiency for making quick decisions.


- This profile requires multi-tasking ability to conceptualize, implement new processes, create update follow up, attention to detail, working under stringent deadlines and aggregating and driving data based decisions.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Accountabilities /Key Performance Indicators:


- Accountable for driving Energy (Thermal and Power Trading ) AOP, as per Annual Operating Plan Framework Strategic and annual operating plan prepared and adopted


- Integrates business plans & drives analytical decisions Meeting Energy business plans adherence

Performance Monitoring, Review & Control In line with approved AOP & Business strategy


- Manages progress on execution of Special Projects As per projects plan


Strategic Projects and Policies:


a. Independent and critical assessment of all (Thermal and Power Trading ) proposal and BD initiatives.


b. Independent review of projects for bankability and investment perspective including review of financial model


c. Reviewing bids/tenders form CEO Designate, Energy Office


d. Review of project related documents such as MoU, RFQ, RFP etc.


e. Enables CEO Designate, Energy wrt decisions on the progress of strategic projects to ensure completion in a timely manner with high quality delivery.


- Effective & replicable strategies, timely deliveries, costs within budget


- Adherence to plans & contracts


Manages reviews as per requirements for all Thermal Plants


- Manages site audits and review of all the projects which are being planned / under implementation, including materials and documentations related to execution of the projects


- Undertake independent site visit to understand and highlight challenges / issues at sites


- Ensures monitoring & progress on action points


- Anchors implementation of all the key initiatives, mainly monitoring from CEO Designate, Energy Office.


- Finalization of presentation for GCM / BCM / GHB reviews


- Analytics


- SLA adherence


- Quality of work


Resolution of key issues:


- Identify, opportunities and challenges at plants / projects as well an ongoing developments taking place at various locations


- Advising basis the industry trends and scanning the important developments and making relevant proposals


- External stakeholders, peers info, policies impacting business - Improvement opportunities identified & resolved


Compliances:


- Ensures adherence to the company policies, procedures and methods of operation to ensure compliance across the function / company - 100% adherence


Research:


To carry out research and relevant studies on specific topics related to business, policy, Business development and other aspects for policy advocacy , as required or on a need basis with a synopsis / reports on the findings


- Conversion into Business

5. DIMENSIONS

Financial Dimensions


(These should be quantifiable numerical amounts like annual budgets, project costs, annual revenue, purchase value etc.).


- The position will be enabling Energy Business to ensure revenue as per AOP i.e. Approx. Rs.4000 Crs.


Other Dimensions:

(Indication of some of the significant volumes associated with the job like number in team/ staff handled etc).


- GKEL, GWEL, GREL, VPGL, Finance, Accounts, Procurement and other support functions

6. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE


(State the minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent).


Educational Qualifications:


- Post Graduate / Management Degree - (MBA - preferably specialization in Finance or Strategy)

Relevant and total years of Experience


- 12-15 years preferably from Energy Sector.
