Job Opportunity for GM / VP - Sales & Marketing- Ortho Segment- Pharma Company- Mumbai
Position Title: GM / VP - Sales & Marketing
Purpose of the Job: Overall Accountability & Responsibility of the Business Unit including P&L.
- Developing high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term & long-term objectives
- Forecasting and Budgeting - with P&L responsibility and manage spends in line with the agreed budget.
- Define & establish systems / processes / SOP to build a sustainable business model.
- Resource Allocation - Effective management of Resources across the Business Unit.
- Leading & Motivating the team to ensure the achievement of primary and secondary sales targets along with growth objectives.
- Exploring & Identifying market opportunities to achieve the desired targets.
- Making high quality Investment decisions to advance the business with increased profits.
- Productivity Improvement Plans - Establish strong processes to monitor & review low performing Territories/ Regions/ Zones/BUs and ensuring productivity improvement.
- Periodic Review of different functions as per defined Strategic plans and guiding further with strategic intent
- Corporate Branding/Image Building - Drive initiatives on building Corporate Image / Key Account Engagements / Branding / Stakeholder Management etc.
- Identify Strategies and Operating model for Marketing & Sales Head
- Building Brands - Strengthen and grow all Power brands through periodic strategic inputs to Sales & Marketing Head
- New Brand Success - Provide and govern the framework and process for New Brand Introduction strategy and develop robust execution plan.
- Building Trust Relationship with Partners & Stakeholders & Managing KOLs - Developing Trust Relations with KOLs, Business Associates and act as one point contact for important Stakeholders.
- Establishing Financial Discipline within the BU.
- Drive Performance Orientation by ensuring business strategy execution through KPI monitoring and provide sales management team with meaningful insights.
- Drive capability building of all employees by focusing on right selection, engagement & performance management.
- Succession Planning by ensuring Successors for each Top & Critical Talent as well as Position.
- Retention Strategy to create a stable & Performing team.
- Business Decision Making - Assess and monitor the impact of commercial decisions on the brand, customer, and business P&L as well as measure & track strategies that yield the greatest returns on Investment whilst ensuring appropriate resources are identified and allocated accordingly.
- Strategic Decision Making - Proactively support Marketing & Sales Heads for business transforming initiatives, such as cultivating and expanding strategic partnerships with KOLs, and other strategic accounts that leads to the successful implementation of business plans.
- Building Organization Culture - Build motivated and committed team through culture of achievement orientation, transparency, rewards and recognition.
- Organization Brand Building -Establish an expanded network of contacts to share best practices, expertise and business insights across the Industry.
