Head - Modern Trade  Hiring For an MNC for the following position  Title : General Manager - Modern Trade  Location : Gurgaon  Reports to : Director - Sales Team Size : 4 (KAM) + 1 (B2B)  Job Purpose :  - - To achieve short and long term value creation and business growth for the Modern trade channel, Pan India  -   - Manager primary and secondary sales along with expanding the market with a key focus on reach and extraction.  -   - The incumbent is required to have a very high degree of business acumen, exposure to modern trade & understanding of people behavior across customer, modern trade channels and all other business segments.  Key responsibilities :  -   - Incumbent will be responsible for the business Pan India Modern Trade Business & will manage a team of 4-5 incumbents.  -   - Manages the sales function in Modern Trade which contributes to approx. 30% of the overall CL sales, in order to maximize sales, volumes and revenues and to ensure the right organization and structure is in place for delivering the objectives. Team management and motivation is an important part.  -   - Defines and executes the commercial strategy in conjunction with marketing and CO management.  - Develop unique ways of growing business and provide solutions to the challenges business faces.  -   - Strategic tie-ups with the present & upcoming retail chains  -   - Manages the preparation of account plans & execution according to the agreed criteria.  -   - Responsible for creating and implementing the sales budgets and plans for all Key accounts and monitoring the sales effort and performance against budget and to take corrective actions, in order to contribute to overall business plan.  -   - Preparation of the annual, quarterly promotional activity plans, aligning these with those of the key accounts  - Deliver operational excellence, Account planning, Target Deployment, and Receivables management  - Managing and developing the team of Sales Executives  - Achieving KPI- s  Desired Candidate Profile:  -   - Experience : 8-10 years (Batches - 2002 - 05)  -   - Should be from top B-School  -   - Presently working in a similar profile with a FMCG / CD company.  Contact - niti.singh16@gmail.com
