Global Sourcing Manager - FMCG
Description:
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. This role involves identifying and qualifying suppliers, leading negotiations, managing vendor performance, and driving strategic partnerships to optimize the supply base. The Sourcing Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and finance to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives, achieve savings targets, and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring compliance with company policies and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to achieve cost and quality targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive advantage and supply security.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract management, and vendor performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain) to align sourcing initiatives with business goals.
- Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and sustainability objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Graduate in Engineering/Commerce; MBA or Supply Chain Certification preferred.
- 610 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in sourcing for [manufacturing / FMCG / automotive / services customize as per your company].
- Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems and advanced Excel or analytics tools.
