Role Overview:

The Global Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies to optimize sourcing, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to understand business needs and translate them into effective procurement plans. The Global Procurement Manager will play a critical role in ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply chain, contributing directly to the company's profitability and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement global procurement strategies aligned with business objectives to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and reduce lead times.

- Lead the sourcing and selection of suppliers, conducting thorough evaluations to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, mitigating risks and maximizing value.

- Manage supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance collaboration and innovation.

- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs, providing insights to stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all procurement activities, maintaining transparency and integrity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide procurement support, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process improvements, contributing to the company's profitability.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement global procurement strategies that drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.

- Proven expertise in sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, securing favorable terms and conditions.

- Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for procurement optimization.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
