Global Process Owner - Finance & Accounts - Record To Report & Accounts Payable - CA

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic -Global Process Owner (GPO) for the -Record to Report (R2R)- function who will lead global standardization, transformation, and process excellence initiatives in Finance & Accounting. This role demands a deep understanding of IFRS, IGAAP, and global accounting frameworks, along with proven experience driving automation, simplification, and governance across diverse geographies.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and govern the -end-to-end R2R process-across entities, ensuring standardization, compliance, and best practices.

- Define global -process frameworks and policies- aligned with IFRS, IGAAP, and internal control requirements.

- Drive finance transformation initiatives including automation, digitalization, and system enhancements (e.g., ERP upgrades, RPA).

- Partner with global stakeholders, shared service centers, and regional finance leaders to achieve operational excellence.

- Establish strong -governance and control frameworks-, ensuring audit-readiness and accurate financial reporting.

- Review and continuously improve processes related to -general ledger, fixed assets, reconciliations, intercompany, and month-end close-.

- Lead process standardization workshops and deploy -KPIs/SLAs- for performance tracking and benchmarking.

- Serve as a subject matter expert and guide teams on compliance, accounting standards, and upcoming regulatory changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification is mandatory.

- 12-20 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5+ years in global or regional process ownership- roles.

- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Indian GAAP (IGAAP)-, with hands-on exposure to statutory reporting and audit processes.

- Strong foundation in R2R processes, transformation projects, and system integration (SAP/Oracle/BlackLine preferred).

- Proven success in -global process governance, stakeholder management, and leading cross-functional projects.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior management.
