Position: Global Lead People Solutions - International Payroll, Mobility & Compliance Reporting to: CHRO Function: Human Resources - People Operations You will be the anchor for international people processes across payroll, mobility, compliance, and benefits administration. This is a mission-critical HR leadership role that ensures employees across all geographies are paid accurately, moved compliantly, and supported through best-in-class global benefits and governance. You'll drive operational excellence across countries, ensuring that HR infrastructure is scalable, compliant, and employee centric as we grow across multiple regions and time zones. Key Responsibilities: 1. International Payroll & Total Rewards Operations - Manage multi-country payroll and benefits processes in partnership with global vendors, ensuring on-time and error-free execution for USA, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Dubai, Indonesia etc. - Oversee statutory compliance for pay structures, bonuses, taxes, deductions, and social contributions across regions. - Lead global benefits administration (healthcare, insurance, wellness programs), benchmarking against local market standards and employee expectations. 2. Global Mobility & Cross-Border Workforce Management - Own the end-to-end lifecycle of international employee movements-including relocation, secondments, remote assignments, and expatriate transitions. - Work with immigration partners and legal counsel to ensure full compliance on visas, work permits, PE exposure, and local labor laws. 3. Regulatory Compliance & HR Governance - Act as the People Compliance Officer-ensuring adherence to all regional labor laws, data privacy (e.g., GDPR), tax treaties, and employment standards. - Partner with legal and finance to maintain compliant contracts, compensation structures, and audit trails. 4. Process Design & Systems Optimization - Integrate and streamline workflows across HRIS, payroll platforms, benefits systems, and compliance trackers. - Build scalable SOPs, SLAs, and control frameworks for high-quality service delivery and reduced risk. 5. Employee Experience & Stakeholder Communication - Be the go-to person for all international employee support related to pay, mobility, benefits, and compliance. Experience & Background: - 10+ years in global HR operations, with at least 5 years leading international payroll, global mobility, and compliance functions. - Proven experience managing cross-border workforces, global benefits, and multi-country HR compliance. - Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Safeguard, Papaya Global), mobility providers, and HR platforms (e.g., Darwin box) - Exposure to scaling organizations, especially in tech, SaaS, consulting, or multi-entity global setups. Skills & Competencies: - Process Champion: Ability to design, automate, and scale global people operations with precision. - Compliance Obsessed: In-depth understanding of regional employment laws, taxation norms, and regulatory frameworks. - People-Centric: Balances operational excellence with empathetic, employee-first service delivery. - Data-Driven: Comfortable using metrics to monitor performance, uncover risk, and drive improvements. - Global Mindset: Cultural fluency and experience supporting diverse teams across geographies and time zones.
