We are seeking a highly driven IT Infrastructure Manager to define, execute, and oversee the company's global IT infrastructure strategy including networks, cloud platforms, servers, user end-points, phones, printers and user support-across multiple geographies. Based in India, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of our infrastructure across multiple geographies.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and technical depth. You'll lead a team of IT professionals, manage global vendors, and ensure seamless delivery of infrastructure services to employees worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global IT infrastructure roadmap.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to support business growth.
- Align infrastructure capabilities with long-term business objectives.
Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of networks, servers, cloud (Azure, Microsoft 365), virtualization (VMware), and security systems.
- Ensure system reliability, high availability, and robust disaster recovery.
- Lead critical incident response and resolve issues with urgency.
- Drive/oversee projects as needed.
Service & Support
- Manage helpdesk operations and ensure a world-class user support experience.
- Implement ITSM practices to continuously improve service quality.
- Foster a user-centric culture of responsiveness and reliability.
- Partner with external service providers to ensure consistent delivery of infrastructure services, timely resolution of issues, and full compliance with performance commitments.
Security, Risk & Compliance
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, firewalls, and monitoring practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage global vendor partnerships, contracts, and SLAs.
- Own infrastructure budgets, resource forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
- Promote accountability and a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/manager role.
- Strong global or multi-site exposure.
- Ability to support work across multiple time zones.
- Deep expertise in networking, server administration, cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365), virtualization (VMware), and cybersecurity.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT initiatives and projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure, Cisco, PMP, ITIL) strongly preferred.
