As the GSF family of schools expands, we are looking for a Strategic Career Counsellor, to join our team who would lead the entire career counselling group globally. The primary responsibility is to provide guidance and support to students in their academic and career development. You will oversee a team of school counsellors and ensure they deliver high-quality services to students. Your role also involves collaborating with faculty, parents, and community organizations to promote student success. This role is a critical part of the organizations strategy to develop our students into future ready graduates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Lead the entire career counselling group globally. - Manage a team of school counsellors and provide coaching, training, and guidance as needed. - Conduct career assessments and interpret the results to help students identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations. - Develop and implement counselling programs that align with the needs of students and the school community. - Conduct assessments and interviews to identify students' strengths, interests, and goals, and provide guidance on academic and career paths and development opportunities. - Organize career fairs and other events to expose students to various career options and connect them with professionals in the field. - Collaborate with faculty to integrate career development into the curriculum and provide resources to support student success. - Build relationships with parents, community organizations, and employers to identify job shadowing, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities for students. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and labour market changes to provide informed advice to students. Experience: - At least 10 years of experience in university placements with team size of 8-10 counsellors. - Bachelor's degree in counselling, psychology, education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
