
Position Overview:
Our client is a leading global industrial technology and manufacturing organisation with a multi-site international presence. The Global HR Director will lead the people agenda across a complex, matrixed environment, partnering with senior leadership to strengthen organisational capability, culture and talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy: Develop and execute a global people strategy aligned with business priorities and growth.
- Executive Partnership: Advise senior leaders on organisation design, workforce strategy, talent and performance.
- Talent & Succession: Lead succession planning, leadership development and high-potential talent programmes.
- Culture & Engagement: Build a high-performance, inclusive culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- HR Operations: Drive HR effectiveness, standardisation, analytics and process optimisation across multiple sites.
- Employee & Labour Relations: Provide strategic oversight of complex employee and labour-relations matters.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure effective HR governance, policies and employment-law compliance.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee competitive, equitable compensation and benefits programmes.
- Workforce Planning: Align workforce capability and critical talent requirements with business needs.
- HR Leadership: Lead, coach and develop a high-performing HR team across multiple locations.
Ideal Candidate:
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, engineering or technology.
- Proven experience leading multi-site and/or global HR operations in a matrixed environment.
- Strong expertise in strategic HR, talent, succession, organisational development and transformation.
- Deep knowledge of employee/labour relations, compliance, compensation and benefits.
- Proven ability to influence C-suite and senior business leaders.
- Strong commercial acumen, executive presence and change-leadership capability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and people-leadership skills.
Education:
Bachelors degree in HR, Business, Industrial Relations or related discipline required; MBA or advanced HR qualification preferred.

Impact will be measured through HR strategy execution, leadership pipeline, talent retention, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, operational excellence and development of a high-performing HR function.
