HRIS Global HR Data Lead

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

As the HRIS Global HR Data Lead & Total Rewards PMO, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the Global HR Data Lake-an integrated platform that consolidates HR data from systems such as SAP HR, Oracle Cloud HCM, SQL Server, and 360Learning. Your role is to ensure that business needs are accurately translated into a scalable and unified data architecture that supports global HR reporting and analytics. In parallel, you will manage the Oracle HCM Total Rewards platform and contribute to broader HR digitalisation initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the design and implementation of the Global HR Data Lake, ensuring seamless integration of data from multiple HR systems into a single, centralized platform.

- Translate business needs into technical specifications for data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure data availability, consistency, and quality across all integrated sources.

- Coordinate the activities of offshore development teams responsible for building and maintaining the data lake infrastructure.

- Define and enforce data governance standards, documentation, and access controls.

- Enable advanced HR reporting and analytics by ensuring the data lake supports self-service and enterprise-wide insights.

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Oracle HCM Total Rewards platform, including planning, stakeholder engagement, and go-live support.

- Organize and facilitate SteerCo meetings, manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies.

- Challenge business stakeholders on functional requirements and developers on technical feasibility.

- Monitor and safeguard the overall architecture of HRIS systems, promoting reusable and scalable - solutions.

- Stay current with emerging technologies in the BI and data space (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks) and assess their applicability.

- Provide hands-on support for operational issues, including writing SQL queries, adjusting configurations, and resolving access issues.

- Support HR Business Partners in effectively using HRIS tools and interpreting data insights.

- Contribute to various HR projects in roles such as testing, architecture, functional analysis, and technical design.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

- Deep understanding of data integration and architecture in HRIS environments.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing data lakes or centralized data platforms.

- Familiarity with data sources such as SAP HR, Oracle Cloud HCM, SQL Server, and learning platforms like 360Learning.

- Hands-on experience with SQL and data transformation tools.

- Experience working with offshore development teams and external vendors.

- Strong facilitation, documentation, and reporting skills.

REQUIREMENTS

- Master's degree or equivalent experience in HR, IT, or related fields.

- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.

- Willingness to collaborate across time zones and cultures.

- Passion for digitalisation, data-driven HR, and continuous improvement.
