Role Summary:


The Global Head of Total rewards & Operations will design, lead, and govern the company's global rewards strategy, ensuring competitiveness, equity, and alignment with business priorities.


This leader will manage all aspects of global compensation, benefits, performance rewards, executive compensation, policy frameworks and Global HR Operations.


The role demands someone with strong international exposure, deep total-rewards expertise, and the ability to translate data-driven insights into reward programs that support business growth.


Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement the global compensation and benefits strategy covering Europe and Asia.


- Deliver a seamless end-to-end HR operational service across India, Europe, the US, and APAC.


- The role is pivotal in shaping an exceptional employee experience while driving efficiency and scalability in a rapidly growing, evolving organization.


- Design bold and innovative ways to use compensation and benefits to attract talent, drive retention and employee engagement.


- Lead on the full compensation strategy, including pay levels, bonus structures, share plans and benefits.


- Champion data, metrics and insights and use data to enable the team to make intelligent decisions.


- Working in partnership with the Company Secretary regarding the corporate governance agenda focusing on the DRR, Gender pay gap reporting and equal pay


- Partner closely with the CHRO and executive leadership to shape total rewards philosophy and long-term frameworks.


- Ensure alignment of reward programs with organizational goals, growth priorities, and market competitiveness.


- Lead global compensation cycles, job architecture, benchmarking, and pay governance frameworks.


- Manage salary structures, incentive plans, variable pay programs, and executive compensation processes.


- Provide consultation to business leaders on global pay strategies and market competitiveness.


- Oversee global benefits design including health, wellness, retirement, and mobility programs across geographies.


- Optimize vendor partnerships, negotiate benefits arrangements, and ensure compliance with regional regulations.


- Drive digital transformation in the rewards function by leveraging HRIS platforms, analytics, and automation.


- Establish governance standards, policy frameworks, and compliance procedures across all countries.


- Ensure accurate compensation data management, reporting, analytics, and audit readiness.


- Work closely with regional HR, finance, and business leaders to ensure seamless execution of global C&B initiatives.


- Influence senior stakeholders through data-backed insights and market intelligence.


Candidate Profile


Experience:


- 14+ years of HR experience with at least 10 years in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards and experience in leading the HR Operations portfolio


- Proven leadership experience managing C&B across Europe and Asia.


- Prior experience in a global organisation; maritime, technology, or data-focused industries are advantageous.


- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benchmarking, benefits design, and executive compensation.


- Strategic mindset with strong business and financial acumen.


- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration skills.


- Strong command of analytics, HR technology platforms, and data-driven decision making.


- Ability to operate in a global matrix environment.


- High integrity, judgement, and the ability to influence at senior levels.
