Summary:

The Global Finance Process and Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, end-to-end process management, and financial operations oversight within a global business services environment.


This role requires a blend of financial acumen, process optimization expertise, and stakeholder management to drive efficiency, compliance, and value across the finance function.


The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, internal control, and external auditors, ensuring the seamless integration of finance processes with the companys strategic goals.


Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelors Degree or MBA in Finance

- 10+ years in finance, with significant experience in global shared services, finance process optimization, and business partnering.

- Min 5 years of experience in finance process design, optimization, or transformation.

- Project management experience.

- Proven experience in process optimization and leading cross-functional teams in a shared services or global enterprise environment.

- Experience with Global Operations: Familiarity with managing Finance in a global context, including multiple currencies, multi languages, regions, and compliance with local tax laws.


Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Leadership:

- Develop and execute financial strategies for Global Business Services (GBS), ensuring alignment with the companys overall objectives.

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

- Oversee financial reporting and compliance across global operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.

2. Process Ownership and Management:

- Own and manage end-to-end finance processes, including accounts payable/receivable, treasury, financial closing, and reporting.

- Lead initiatives for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for key finance processes, ensuring standardization across regions.

- Ensure robust process documentation, internal controls, and compliance with financial regulations (e.g., IFRS).

- Continuously review and improve existing finance processes, identifying areas for optimization, automation, and efficiency gains.

3. Stakeholder and Vendor Management:

- Work closely with business units, including accounting, procurement, IT, operations, outsourcing providers, and external auditors, to ensure the seamless execution of finance processes.

- Collaborate with senior management to align finance processes with the company's strategic objectives.

- Lead change management efforts for process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and the adoption of new systems, tools, or processes by finance teams and other stakeholders.

- Provide training, guidance, and support to teams on finance systems, processes, and best practices.

- Collaborate with external vendors, partners, or third-party service providers to enhance Finance process, especially in areas like purchase invoice handling, and T&E posting.

4. Service Delivery and SLA Follow-Up:

- Oversee daily operations to ensure consistent service delivery across finance processes.

- Monitor and follow up on SLAs to ensure agreed service levels are met.

- Regularly review SLA performance with internal teams and external partners, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

- Drive initiatives to improve service delivery quality, ensuring timely and accurate support to internal and external stakeholders.

5. Financial Systems and Technology:

- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure finance processes are well integrated with enterprise systems (ERP) and digital tools.

- Identify and implement automation opportunities, including robotic process automation (RPA) and data analytics solutions.

- Work closely with the IT department to ensure that finance processes are integrated with enterprise systems and other digital tools.

- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of financial data across systems.
