We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our international exports business for spices, condiments, and food products. The role calls for driving global expansion, strengthening distributor networks, ensuring compliance with international standards, and delivering sustained business growth across multiple geographies. Business Growth & Strategy - Design and implement export strategies to scale the companys presence in global markets. - Explore new territories, channels, and partnerships to expand business reach. - Build annual sales plans, track performance, and ensure delivery of revenue goals. - Keep a close watch on global industry trends, competitive activities, and consumer behavior. Market Development & Distribution - Establish and nurture long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and partners worldwide. - Drive negotiations on pricing, contracts, and trade terms to maximize profitability. - Collaborate with internal supply chain and production teams for smooth order fulfillment. Compliance & Regulatory Management - Oversee adherence to international food safety standards and certifications (FDA, FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, Halal, Kosher). - Manage export documentation, customs, and regulatory requirements. - Stay updated on tariffs, duties, and global trade regulations impacting business. Brand Presence & Marketing Support - Partner with marketing to tailor brand positioning for diverse cultural markets. - Represent the company at major international trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B forums. - Support digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives for overseas consumers. Leadership & People Development - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of export professionals. - Build capability in international business development and cross-cultural negotiations. - Work with R&D to develop products suited to local market preferences. Skills & Experience Required - Strong background in FMCG exports, ideally in food, spices, or condiments. - 1820 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role. - Demonstrated success in growing products across multiple international markets. - Expertise in building and managing large distributor networks and modern trade partners. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Ability to navigate diverse cultural environments with integrity and adaptability. Education: Graduate/Postgraduate from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution.
