Global Deputy Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

The Position:


The Global FP&A Deputy Manager reports to the Global FP&A Manager in CoE based out of Navi Mumbai and works closely with the various country finance teams across the globe including the corporate HQ based out of New York .

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:


- Prepare & present financial reports, highlight key performance indicators & variances


- Prepare segment P&L and SKU level profitability analysis


- Collaborating with market/country finance leads to analyze revenue and gross margin trends


- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support analysis

Business Partnering:


- Business Partnering with market/country finance team members


- Lead the markets in populating financial templates and reporting asks


- Ensure that financial reports are completed accurately and on time


- Co-ordinating with market leads and holding them accountable for their submissions


- Ensuring the market leads understand the corporate ask

Continuous Improvement:


- Express intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn r-pac business dynamics


- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities


- Stay updated on industry best practices & trends to drive innovation in the finance function

FP&A Deputy Manager Requirements:


- CA / MBA with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience


- Experience in working with a MNC in corporate BP&A or FP&A role


- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.


- Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.


- Excellent communication skills to deal with Global team members


- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Communication as a critical skill. Needs to be able to effectively communicate across multiple markets and levels of the organization in English.


- A strategic thinker regarding financial management, and continuous improvement using an analytic and metrics-based approach.
